The Tao Speaks

While cleaning out things I came across my Pocket Edition of the Tao te Ching. I opened the book at a quite appropriate page relating to the past few weeks.

Chapter 75
"When taxes are too high,
people go hungry.
When the government is too intrusive,
people lose their spirit.

Act for the people's benefit.
Trust them; leave them alone."

Stephen Mitchell, Tao te Ching, 1988

Pursuing Art... said...

Hi Z'anne...I am finally taking the time to catch up on everyone's progress and today is the day!

I am so sorry to hear about your mom and your friend! I know how emotional and hard those times are!

Your September piece is lovely! It is wonderful for you to honor your mom and Diane this way! I'm sure this year of beading and journaling will be a comfort to you!

Your October piece is great! You did a beautiful job and it truly is a happy Halloween piece!

Hope things are going well for you and I look forward to seeing your November piece!

~Lisa ;-)

P.S. I meant to say that the your dreamcatcher is amazing!!! And the Tao speaks...is totally appropriate...how true!

Thank you, Lisa, I appreciate your thoughts.

I'm just catching up also. Fall time is a busy time for me, lots of art to make. Of course, I don't have anything up yet, 'cause their not all done! And don't we know about that! LOL But, I should be getting some things done soon.

Thank you for stopping by and checking out my art!
