Leopard Spots, Pearls and Frogs

This necklace was made for a theme show called,
"It's A Jungle Out There".  I named it
"Leopard Keeps His Spots".  It is made from
acrylic rounds, ovals and rings, amber beads and lots of
chain.  This piece is light on the neck and fun to wear.

This necklace is put together with beautiful peacock color pearls
and small mother-of-pearl beads.  Each pearl has a structure all
its own and the color is deep and rich.

A small, lampworked frog bead adds just that bit of whimsy to this
black crystal and freshwater pearl necklace.

More necklaces to see

A beautiful lampworked starfish is the "star" of this necklace,
along with glass pearls and green beads.

Faceted, graduated, nugget and tube turquoise beads
are paired with copper beads and toggle clasp.

Graduated copper and brass dangles on a leather cord.

An acrylic dome, over a piece of sheet music, is captured by
beads in cream and black with glass pearls and crystal fringe.

Green-dyed freshwater pearls highlight the colorful
hand rolled wool beads in this necklace.

These are a few more pieces I will be bringing to the show this coming Saturday.  To see more art from the Magpies, go to our blog at Magpie Tribe Artisans NW .

If you can't make the show and like what you see, I will be putting up those necklace that don't sell in my store at Z'annes Bazaar  next week.

Winter Dreams

I am part of a lovely group of artists called the Magpie Tribe Artisans NW and we have been very busy getting ready for an art show and sale next Saturday.  (This is one of the reasons I've been mostly absent from this blog lately.)  There will be a great variety of art to see and buy at the Multnomah Arts Center.  If you are in the area, please stop by and see us, you might even find that one unique gift you've been looking for.

Below are just a few of the items I will be bringing with me to the sale.
