Cutting Paper in the Extreme

I thought that beading, with very small beads, was meditative and the art of patience. Not so! Kristi Malakoff cuts paper like no ones business. Using 6000 color copies of butterflies on transparency material she transforms a blank wall into a vertical river of color.

Check out the rest of the pictures of her other installations and then her other art. It's fantastic! Her May Pole children are amazing!!! And remember, it's paper.
